We all know how music affects our mood and outlook. Sound healers know that sound can do much more by restoring the body to its natural, harmonious state. Special frequencies also heighten our creativity, intuition and spiritual consciousness. One of our most powerful instruments is our voice. When combined in a group, the effects are even more intense.
Come energize yourself and have some fun by joining our monthy Sound Circle. You do not have to be a musician or singer to participate; we all have the power of our voice to heal and transform ourselves. We will offer various activities: toning (singing elongated vowel sounds in repetition and in unison), moving to music, exploring the effects of crystals and colors, and doing other creative activities for fun. The circle is facilitated by Angel and Steve, who have completed 100 hours of sound healing with Sound Accord instructors.
We meet at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month at Singingbird Nature Center in Black Hawk State Historic Site, Rock Island, IL.
