FULL MOON FIRE CEREMONY TRANSFORMS PRAYERS
The Full Moon Fire Ceremony is an opportunity to transform blocked or heavy energy within us into pure light energy. Each month's ceremony has a theme or intention, such as "Creating Joy."

Participants decorate a stick beforehand to create a prayer arrow which holds the monthly intention. While gathered in a circle, we take turns offering our prayer arrows into the sacred fire.

Fire ceremonies are conducted on the full moon of each month at the Unity Church, 53rd Street and 47th Avenue in Moline, Ill. See the calendar for exact times and dates. Bring your prayer arrow, a lawn chair, and a rattle if you have one.

We invite your expanded participation with the full moon experience through donations of gifts for the fire, volunteers to share with fire-tending or opening and closing of the directions, and nature gifts such as flowers, feathers and stones.

In addition, your facilitators are preparing monthly items for the altar, or prayer tools for those in attendance. Your suggestions are invited as well.

For more information, please contact fire ceremony facilitators Andrea or Pam.
